“We are all in the midst of it now, but one day this pandemic will be history. The full impact of the COVID-19 crisis will be important to document and evaluate for future generations looking back at this historic event.”

The Higgins Museum, Bedford is reaching out to photographers and others to help document these days for future generations. Can you help?

Glyn Dewis is Timeless at 8.30pm

The club has had Glyn Dewis talk a couple of times and he has been very popular. Glyn has been in the national news over the last few months about his WWII soldier portrait series. He has now released a new video course, Timeless , which describes how he goes out to take his classic/timeless portraits and his post processing techniques. Glyn is an excellent teacher and I am sure his video course is value for money. For a few days this week he has an opening offer, the price is reduced from £49 to £29.

Thursday April 2nd 8.30pm he is also running an online video extra with some added lighting technique and post processing work, you are invited to tune in to this from this webpage and you have the chance to ask questions in the chat box.

Points of View Reschedule

Points of View 2018

New Date Sunday 4 November

Because the weather was so inhospitable we had to cancel our competition scheduled for Sunday last, 14 October.

I am seeking an indication of whether you are likely to attend the event if we reschedule for 4th or 11th November.  Preferred date is 4th November if only because the later we leave it the more uncertain the weather is likely to be.

Please let me know your preference by email or at next Tuesday’s club meeting.

Many thanks
