Report from the Cambridge Interclub Digital Competition 19th Jan 2019
Bedford Camera Club recently entered the Cambridge Interclub Digital Competition.
32 clubs entered this competition which consisted of 5 themed rounds for which each club had to enter 1 image
For the Monochrome round Bedford was represented by Filly Brontio-Brooks ‘s image Vasco da Gama
For the Theme People Cliff Harvey with his image Late Night Heading Home was our image
For the Landscape round we entered John Dunn’s image Kirkjufell Mountain
For the Nature round we were represented by Andy Howe’s image Female Kestrel Landing
For the Open round we entered Andy Howe’s image Broken which scored a top mark of 20
The judge was Kirsty Ralfs who gave concise but constructive feedback, the Nature round was particularly hotly contested and here were many high quality images throughout all the rounds .
At the end of the competition Cambridge camera club had scored a very impressive 99 out of a possible 100 points and Bedford had gained a very credible 92 which gave us 4th place.
