Charity Golf Day

 Charity Golf Day

In 2012 I lost my youngest son to Bone Marrow Cancer and every year since I have arranged  a Golf Day in his memory.

In the past, one or two members of the club have come along and helped me by taking photos of the day. This year, at the moment, I am still looking for offers of help. I realise that walking around a golf course is quite hard work – about 4 miles in total.  It is a good opportunity to practise your sports photography though.

So I am asking if one or two members would like to join me on this day and take some photos for me which I can sell on to the players and make a little more money for the charity. To date we have raised £5,000 which goes to The Primrose Unit at Bedford Hospital.

The day is on Friday 24th August at a local golf course. If you can help, please contact me on   07794 273552 or by email

You would be well looked after, I would feed and water you on the day.

Thank you

Paul Curtis
