EAF Projected Image Championship
On the 3rd Feb Bedford CAMERA Club entered the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies Projected image championship.
34 clubs entered all of whom submitted 15 images for the first round.
These were judged by 3 judges Gianpiero Ferrari, Malcom Kus and Rikki O’Neill who each scored the images immediately on first view of the images. Each judge scored out of a maximum of 5 points, giving a maximum of 15 points for each image.
After the 1st round the top 14 clubs moved to the second round where a further 10 images were scored to find the eventual winners who will go to the national competition to represent East Anglia.
Bedford came 18th with a score of 170 which was 4 points short of the cut off to go forward to the next round.

Special recognition goes to Andy Howe who had 2 images which scored the maximum 15 points and John Pegram who scored 14.
A similar format will be followed for the EAF print championship at the beginning of March.
