Jonathan Vaines - It's a Man's World

Jonathan Vaines – It’s a Man’s World

Following a very interesting, entertaining and informative talk from Jonathan Vaines on January 8th we welcome him back to offer an Open Critique Evening.

Jonathan will discuss the compositional elements of images using members own work – not judging nor scoring, but simply critiquing the images based on all the points he highlighted on his previous talk.
The evening will be interactive with questions throughout to allow everyone to explore, read and understand the compositional value of their image.
All members are invited to submit up to two PDI’s which you feel are successful images from which you would like constructive comment on both possible improvement as well as compositional critique.  Jonathan will discuss the images(s) with the author and with possible comments from other members of the club. This is not a competition and your images will not be scored.

Your one or two PDI images are to be submitted via Photo Entry.

  1. Login to Photo Entry as you would for a competition
  2. Select Other Internal Compositions 2018-19
  3. select Composition Critique for 12th Feb 2019

Your images should be in the usual 1600×1200, sRGB, JPG format and are to be submitted no later than Tuesday 5 February 2019.

Part way through most evenings there is a short refreshment interval

Unless otherwise specified meetings are held at Scott Primary School, Hawk Drive, Bedford MK41 7JA

The large hall has modern video and audio facilities

This event is free to BCC Members: Visitors £3.00 pp (refundable if you join the club on the evening)
