Greensand Ridge Country

At the final club meeting of 2019, Tuesday 7th May, Eloise Markwick of the Greensand Country Ridge Organisation (GCR) gave a 30 minute presentation entitled “Greensand Country”.

RPS – Sharpenhoe Clappers

Last Saturday seven BCC members joined 18 others for a large, successful RPS day’s walk, perfectly organised by Jonathan Vaines and Ann Miles, around the coast line of Dovercourt. Despite the threat from scary storm Hannah, which kindly just feather-edged us for part of the day, judging by all the smiling faces and laughter, everyone enjoyed it. We explored an area, rich in photographic potential, that I would never have been to otherwise. There was top notch help and advice whenever you looked confused (which is my normal expression.)
