Summer activities: Box End

Hi everyone,

There has had to be changes made to the next two weeks outings.

I originally intended to go over to Willen Lake in Milton Keynes to photograph the Water Skiers and the Pagoda. However, apparently the water skiers are not operating on Tuesdays, so next weeks venue will be
BOX END PARK,
BOX END ROAD,
BEDFORD MK43 8RQ
We have been there before, and I have seen many a good photograph taken there, so come along and have a go at capturing great action shots of the skiers.
Meet in the car park at 6.45pm

Summer events

Hi everyone,

Next Tuesday's outing will be at Woburn Deer Park.
There has been quite a few competition entries taken here, and is a good opportunity to photograph some beautiful animals.
I suggest meeting in the free car park at the top of Park Street at 6.45 to 7pm next Tuesday evening, 9th. June.
If you intend coming please let me know at summer@bedfordcameraclub.co.uk so that I know who to look out for.
Also, this weekend is the Kite Festival, and on the 13th, In Priory Park, is the pretty muddy event, which should be fun to photograph.
Regards to all,
Peter

Summer events

Hello!

Next Tuesday, 2nd. June, I am suggesting a visit to
RSPB,
The Heath,
Potton,
Sandy, SG19 2DL

I know a number of us have been there before. but there is a good chance of photographing woodpeckers, chaffinches etc, so if you’re into birds of the feathered variety, this will be a good opportunity.
I suggest meeting in the car park at 7 pm **
Please let me know at summer@bedfordcameraclub.co.uk if you are able to attend so that I know who to expect.

Also, this weekend, for the car enthusiasts among us, there is the Classic cars at Willington Dovecote on 31st. May

Regards to all,
Peter

** PS: If you are a RSPB member or have a MyWaitrose card then bring it along to get free parking. Ian

Hi,

Next Tuesday, 26th. May, is an evening of street photography.
My idea was to photograph people, but of course, you can do whatever you like.
I suggest meeting at 7 pm at the two faces in the High Street, and we'll move off from there.
Please let me know, summer@bedfordcameraclub.co.uk if you intend joining us.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Incidentally, The Hertfordshire County Show is on at the Showground, Redbourn, AL3 7PT this weekend, and may be an opportunity for some good shots.
Regards,
Peter

Summer Events

Next tuesday will be the first evening of the summer events,
and it will be at Priory Park, Bedford.

The idea is a macro evening, to attempt to photograpgh anything small, although you can, in fact, photograph anything  you want.
I suggest walking around the finger lakes and see what you can find to photograph.
Please park in the pub car park, as the other one closes at 9 pm, and your car may be locked in for the night if you leave it there.
I suggest meeting at 7 pm, and afterwards meeting in the pub garden for a drink and a chat.
Please let me know if you will be comming to this event so I will know who to look out for.
Reply to summer@bedfordcameraclub.co.uk.
Hope to see you on tuesday evening.
