Flower Photography Opportunity

We have the opportunity for early morning photography at a large commercial flower farm on the edge of Bedford.

Friday, June 4th, 6.30 am

The club photographed the gardens in 2019 and know it as a worthwhile location.

They have a huge walled garden with a variety of flowers. Right now we are hoping the peonies will be out in bloom. There is also an orchard next door.

The flowers are Lucy and Jane’s income, they are grown for weddings, hotels and florists. We have to observe extreme care, no touching and never damage the flowers. There is no pushing between plants, tripods may be used carefully.

NB it is a 6.30 am start time, and leave by 8.30 am. You will be asked to submit some of your best shots within 7 to 10 days for me to forward to the owner as a thank-you, for use on their website and other publicity material. I do not accept the excuse “I never took any good shots.”

If you are interested in garden photography and prepared for an early morning kick-off, please email me. We are very limited on numbers; first come, first served.
