Date: 27th August 2021
In just a few weeks we’ll be staging our first competition for the 2021/22 season so it’s time to charge up those camera batteries and get ready for the annual Points of View contest. Entries for this competition won’t be judged until December but, to qualify, all entries MUST be photographed between Friday 17th September and Sunday 19th September – that’s just 3 weeks away!
This year’s competition has been devised by Ann Brownbill and apart from setting a particular period for the photography she has defined a particular place along with a number of very specific themes! This is quite a challenging competition but Ann has selected a location where there might be lots going on as it coincides with a community festival!
Find out what Ann has planned for you, and importantly where you need to be, by downloading the competition instructions here:
Please let Ann know if you are coming by registering your interest via email@example.com. Ann can then keep you up-to-date on any important news.
Get those creative juices flowing and think about how you might approach this competition. Anyone (club members and their guests) is free to join us over the weekend and there will be plenty of opportunities to swap notes with fellow photographers over a coffee or a beer. Club members will need to submit their competition entries by 14th December 2021. This is your chance to show what you can do even if you’ve never entered a photography competition before!
