JANUARY 2026
6 January: MEMBERS' EVENING
Hemant Jariwala ARPS - Walking … The Cleveland Way

This talk is a photo essay about one of the finest and iconic National Trails in England: The Cleveland Way. The speaker walked this long-distance footpath in September of 2016 at the age of 64. In just 110 miles distance, this footpath offers the iconic landscape of the North York Moors and the sublime beauty of the rugged North Yorkshire Coastline.
Starting from the market town of Hemsley (Vale of Pickering) it passes through hauntingly but beautiful ruins of Rievaulx Abby before enjoying the undulating but remote landscape of the North York Moors, across to Saltburn-by-the-Sea and along the newly designated King Charles III Coast Path to Filey Brigg via Staithes, Runswick Bay, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough.
