WELCOME EVENING
Introduction to the Committee Members.
A presentation outlining the programme for the coming season including speakers, members' workshop evenings, internal and external competitions.
This introduction will be followed by "What we did on our holidays.” A members' review with some of their photographs on the theme "What we did on our holidays" and why the shot ‘worked’ for them or why it went horribly wrong!

The History of Photography: Inspiring Women
Zoom talk
In this talk, Cat will lead the audience on a journey through the lives of women who changed photography forever. From Elizabeth Fulhame, whose chemistry research set the foundation for the birth of the photographic process, to Cindy Sherman playing with the 20th-century visual and cultural codes of art, celebrity and gender. The stories of these women will tell us how their photographs reflected or challenged the society around them and how they changed art & photography through the decades.

Entry to this competition required images to be taken on 5th, 6th or 7th September 2025 in Olney, Bucks.
Those participating were asked to take one image for each of the six themes.
1. A sign
2. A reflection
3. A person/people
4. A door with name/knocker
5. A passageway or street of interest (Monochrome Only)
6. Something unique to Olney
Entries to be received by the Club no later than 14 October 25
Judging of the Competition will take place on 21 October 25
