3 FEBRUARY: Jonathan Vaines - ME, Myself & Eye, IN-PERSON PRESENTATION
This talk follows on from The Little Print Show (TLPS). M.E, Myself and Eye is M.E - Multiple Exposure, MYSELF - I will tell you a little about myself and you will see the world through my seeing EYE.
In the talk I show many individual images from my projects and explain the meaning behind them. I cover the concept of photographing an artistic image, shooting and then the production of the final print.
As in TLPS, the evening takes you out of the niche of the Camera Club and into my world of Visual Art.
10 FEBRUARY: Steve Race - Wildlife of the Yorkshire Coast, ZOOM PRESENTATION
The Yorkshire Coast is an incredible place to see a wide variety of wildlife across different habitats. From deep forests and woodlands to the beautiful purple moorland of the North York Moors National Park, along the rugged coastline and through the sweeping hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, you will be amazed at what you can see.
This talk tells the story behind the reasons for forming our company ‘Yorkshire Coast Nature” and the wildlife that can be found and photographed along the Yorkshire Coast.

24 FEBRUARY: DON BISHOP British - Landscape Photographer, ZOOM PRESENTATION
Don’s talk will include a number of images from many parts of the British Isles and including mountains, moorlands and coast from Scotland to Cornwall and Norfolk to Western Ireland, often in lovely warm morning or evening light.
Don has been a full time professional landscape photographer for some 19 yrs, starting by selling prints at shows/events and taking on a full time gallery on the Somerset Levels in 2013 and later moving this operation to Cheddar Gorge, Somerset in 2018 until a decision to close this in late 2023 as part of “slowing down a little in life”. He has offered and run landscape photography workshops for some 16yrs now. He became a Royal Photographic Society ARPS qualified photographer in 2006.
His photography career began with photographing steam trains, his other lifelong passion, becoming a well-known published photographer in this field. He still spends time chasing and photographing steam trains around the UK, often in pleasant landscape locations. He decided on a career path change in 2006 when he left a career with BT to become a photographer.
